developing a comprehensive health management strategy

In the current economic climate, the business imperative for addressing health care costs has never been greater. The case for moving beyond “wellness” and on to a more comprehensive health management strategy is compelling. In fact, it may be the single biggest opportunity at our disposal to advance our organizations from a human capital perspective and address a variety of organizational dysfunctions. This discussion will focus on the business case for health management, including provisions within Health Care Reform, best practices for employee engagement, ways to address budget concerns, and how to quantify the return-on-investment.

Denise G. Lantz, PHR, CHC is the President & Founder of Attentive Health LLC and had over 12 years of progressive HR experience before a compelling personal experience inspired her to transition into the corporate wellness field. Since 2007, she has implemented health management programs in organizations of all industries and sizes, drawing on both her wellness expertise and HR background with companies ranging from a small non-profit to one of Fortune’s Top 100 Companies to Work For. She specializes in both personal and organizational change management, program design, strategic planning & complex data analysis. Denise is a board-certified Health Counselor with a BA in English and Psychology from Mary Baldwin College and a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She also serves on the Board for Southeastern Pennsylvania SHRM (SEPA SHRM).
